Default Some people just shouldn't be aloud to work on cars!!

Customer contacts us and explains "I had a friend of a friend offer to help me build my car and he's finally come to a point and admitted due to lack of knowledge he can't finish it"

It rolled off the back of the tow truck a couple hours ago.. I popped the hood with the customer here and the first thing I saw was the PCV valve....

Unless that's a freaky new intake, I say We're running some coolant through the valve train, unless the check valve in the PCV held out.

    Yes sir.

We are trying to clean it up and make sense of what's here. We actually got it running last night. After changing the plugs, installing a working dizzy, setting the timing and fixing the carb metering block orientation... (check pics) It actually fired up and sounded pretty good. And considering it had more water in it than oil and it had 75psi of oil pressure cold and 40psi when it was warm with fresh oil in it may actually be a sign all may not all be lost! The scary part is, it has a flat tappet cam in it and I can't imagine it liked being broken in with mostly water in the oil..

    Time will tell!
