hey guys. I know some of you have an X-Box 360 and some have forza 4. i am starting a series with FHRA and it is based on the KOTS we have hereon this site..
The rules and etc are here.. In short, every week you earn money to mod your car and it will be an ongoing event.. There will be KOTS races as well as negotiated races for the hit, lengths or for their allowance credits for car modification...

Drag racing originally started out on the street and it was done by everyday average joes who just wanted to go faster. Mostof these guys were on a budget and I am trying to recreate this by having both a budget and everyday joe cars.. I am hoping this will grow to be a huge event of everyday joes and their cars.. Here are the rules and how it goes down..

Much like everyone starting out in a new game you will get X amount of credits to buy your first car and start modding with. Then every week you get an allowance to use for bets, modding or heck even save up to buy the car you really want..

Rules:

(1) You must buy an initial car with the 15,000 credits that are allowed. Any make, model, drive type is permitted.

(2) After you purchase a car you will only have the remainder of your first 15,000 credits to do mods

(3) every week everyone will get 5,000 credits to spend as they like on their cars

(4) FWD cars are allowed to purchase Drag Tires from the get go with thei allowance

(5) RWD cars are restricted to Sports tires untill they break into the 11's

(6) No full cages allowed till you run faster than 12.2's

(7) AWD Cars are restricted to street tires

(8) FWD, AWD and non american RWD cars must maintain the original trans mission gearing.Short throw shifter is allowed ( Street Trans allowed)

(9) American RWD cars are allowed to do a sport transmission to adjust final drive. This is very common in real life on the street. Very uncommon to see JDM or euro cars with a swapped rear gear...

(10) All cars should look like street cars, no John Force liveries

(11) All street world participants are to post Car PI, Parts bought and Money Spent. HP, TQ, Car weight and 1/4 times are not to be discussed. I expect to see money races and car lengths negotiated. This is not meant to be equal and it wont be.

(12) Every one picks a different car. until we get soo many people it is unavoidable.. You make your car selection and you stick with it !

(13) You pick a modification and you stick with it. No parts testing. just like real life, you install it you don't send it back!...

(14) Be honest and be sure to chose your car and parts wisely. No testing of all the cars to get an advantage. Pick a car you think you would like to drive or pick in real life. This is about fun...

(15) All races unless other wise negotiated will be on the street tracks with a person randomly calling go for the drivers. The Hit is also allowed. Chase is a race.. A car will be out at the 1/4 to announce the winner. If it is unclear, we can go to replay or just run it again... The reason it is being run on the street are the following reasons. We can all line up in staging lines or on the side of the track to spectate. We can do burnouts to heat our tires. Also with the Go being called it adds a reaction time factor.. Wecan run countless numbers of races and only have one replay and no loadtime between races ..... hope everyone is into this... Let me know...

Here are the prices for the parts...

Street Parts = 500 CR

Sport Parts= 1000CR

Race Parts = 2000 CR

Any time you purchase tires, the rim width upgrade is free of charge..

Aspiration conversion is 5000CR. Then previous costs apply for the individual turbo upgrades ( Street =500CR, Sport = 1000CR, Race = 2000 CR)

Engine swaps are 10,000 CR. No V8 swaps in FWD cars. Lets try to be realistic about this LOL

Drivetrain Swaps are NOT ALLOWED.



Run What ya Brung folks. Hope you brung enough. No 1/4 dial ins and no limits !

KOTS list races: Are call out only and may only be ran heads up. You can only call out the racer directly above you on the list. Once a call out is made, the challenged racer only has 1 week to reply and set up a time and date for the race with the challenger. If the challenged racer does not reply to a challenge with in a week he forfiets his spot on the list and the challenger takes his position. KOTS races can be ran any time. KOTS races are only 1 race. You must save the replay for verification purposes also.. You can only race a person for KOTS spot once. However if you are at a meet and the next racer in line is there also, you can call him out as well. You can advance multiple positions in one night. But rematches for KOTS positions are 1 week apart..



Weekly races: The weekly races are where we get a chance to see the compitition. During these races negotiations for lengths, The Hit or Allowance CR's can happen. These races are to be fun and nothing more. Just your every week street race night meet and race... meet up, talk cars, do burnouts, dough nuts and run some friendly races and scope out the comp... You can also make your KOTS list call out during one of these nights also.. However all call outs are to be posted and the out come as well..

Im in, but for the people who are a week behind on upgrades how does that make it right when they will always be faster than you. and plus if you win a money race can you use that money to build your car?

Hello, Wewould be glad to have you.
To answer your first question. If you start the second week, you still get the 15K plus the 5K allowance for the second week. However you will only be allowed to buy a car that is 15,000 and under but you will still have the 20,000 to spend. Hope this makes since. Example. You buy an S-2000 which costs 14,000. You still have 6,000 for mods...

The money races are wagering the credits people have available to spend. ifyou win and increase your credits you can use them for mods. however the loser no longer has those credits available for mods...

okay so you said 15K to spend I bought a omni for 5K and engines swaps cost 10K. and I can put slicks since its a front wheel drive car. So im still "legal" then right as long as I dont no other upgrades at all
