    Default 94 Z28 Camaro vs 2000 Audi S4

Just in, one of my friends called me out on face book and I need to know how fast these little German cars are. I dont know his mods an he doesnt know mine. Im not sure if hes AWD or FWD Im assuming they are AWD. but he has a manual an its a turbo. I think its stock, the most it could have is maybe a CAI. I have a Auto Z28 with K&N, Airfoil, The motor has all new gaskets so Im assuming its been out an either rebuilt or refreshed *Possible LT4 Cam, and minor engine work*. I can also lauch my car decent for being on the street considering my long stock gears *no bog puts you in the seat*. The race is getting taped and will take place soon. If those cars run like 15's 16's stock Ill call him out for $250-$500 because If I get caught racing again my license will get taken till Im 21.....which is 3 years away so I want to make it worth the risk

To be honest I dont know what they have done but I raced an audi A3 I think lol at the track and he was AWD, turbo,no cats, with cat-back and tune, and he ran a 13.40 at 104. So I say it would be a drivers race, if he botches the launch then you got'em

Im not 100% if thats the right year an model or his car but from my best guess its a 2000 S4. I still dont have my license because North Carolina cops dont like it when you do 84/55 but im getting it back on the 15th. I guess I'll just run for bragging rights if they run that strong. If he beats me I'll just throw my 383 Stroker in my malibu with a 2600 stall an see if he gets me again hahah I'll see if he wants the run on the 18th or 19th. Its just that High RMP AWD Launch has got me spooked. I dont want to get snatched out of the whole.

It depends on the year but the newer S4's (2004 and up) are pretty quick for a stock car... They come with a V8 making 344hp and run low 13's out the box... obviously with a few bolt-ons they can run mid to low 12's.

    Stock times for S4's
    0-60, 1/4 mile:
    1992 Audi S4 6.1 14.9
    1993 Audi S4 6.5 15.1
    2000 Audi S4 5.5 14.1
    2004 Audi S4 4.9 13.4

    I hope that helps...

The 2000 S4 had a turbo 6 and here are the specs...
    0-60 (Manual): 5.9
    1/4 Mile: 14.4

    For a 94 Z28...
    0-60: 5.7
    1/4 Mile: 14.2

    Gona be close... =)

Im pretty sure he's going to do a baby lauch, I dont think he will bring up the revs very high. Its going to be a mans race thats for sure, I would guess Im running high to mid 13's so it might not be to close if hes factory stock. Im still trying to egg him on till I get my License back to keep the beef alive. Digging An Auto FTW

Did this ever go down? I assume the audi won since we never got a follow up.. TrollDadFace.png

Also how can a "fully built 383 SBC only have a 2600 Stall? I got a 3200 in my Daily

Race didnt pan out I sold the car.

And you can have a 2600 stall when its a TCI Converter with anti ballon'ing plates and with built internals. But that motor is sold now too

And that 383 in a full weight 84 Monte with a passenger with a shitty 2.41 peg leg gear took a 340AWHP Sti and they had the hit..........soo I wouldnt talk about it like its slow. but I dont have vids so it never happened

And why are you assuming I lost because I didnt follow up? That makes no sence, did you ever think that maybe I had some more important things on my mind and just happened to forget about 1 post that I did on a website thats based 700 miles from where Im at.

LOL You Mad Bro !? Yes, that is the assumption as 99% of the time when someone makes a post like the first one you made in this topic and then never posts a follow up they either A Lost or B The race never happened. You obviously don't have anything better to do. you posted 3 times in a thread that isn't even relevant anymore as you don't even have thecar anymore ! Also I never said your car was slow, I did however say that with only a 2600 stall converter it surely isn't a fully built 383. Fully assembled? Yes. Fully Built? Nope. If you had only a 2600 stall converter on a fully built car you are losing out on a lot of hole shot potential ! Also what about this has anything to do with me being a Ford guy? What a Dick post that was ! Also thanks for proving me right BTW. If your claim to fame is beating a 12 sec WRX then surely i was right in stating it is far from fully built. KowBoy has what i would consider a Built 383 and I assure you his car would make yours look like what it is. A Mildly built 383. like I said. I never said it was slow. just stating it isn't "fully Built"

But I thank you for getting your panties in a wad over a car you don't even own any more. just one question for you though.. What color are they?

You say I post 3 times on a post thats dead..........when your the one that brought it back to life.........It was my dialy driver which is why a 2600 was plenty an I could flash it to 3200-3400 which is more than enough beat whatever red neck cars around here. And I mean fully built as block work, 40 over, 6 inch rod, SRP Flat Top pistons, heads were cut, port an polished, bigger valves, .540 lift cam, decent intake, cromeolly push rods, better lifters, 1.6 roller rockers, long tube headers in my book that is a fully built motor. And my panties arent in a bunch "bro" just dont see where you get off on saying I lost because I didnt post back and acting like a 2600 stall is a crime. P.S The reason why I came back to the web site an posted 3 times is because Im moving back to bradenton so Im seeing whats going on.

I see where your coming from by saying its not "Fully Built" youre right it didnt have AFR Alu heads and a wicked solid lift cam and pop up pistons and a super victor jr intake and 2 stage nitrous ya da ya da ya da but it was a damn healthly street motor
